Irving Zuckerman, Principal

 

As property manager from 1972 to 1986 for Barnett Hills, a 69-unit garden apartment complex, Mr. Irving Zuckerman began the first phase of his real estate career. From 1986 through 1991, he served as marketing manager and construction coordinator of Cromwell Hill Commons, an 80-condominium complex. This coincided with his role as managing partner of Westgate Goshen Business Park , where he has acted as liaison to state and local agencies and has served as the Marketing and Sales Manager.

An active member of the Alliance of Business Park Developers and of the Orange Partnership as well as other noteworthy organizations, Mr. Zuckerman is well known and respected in the communities he serves. He has been recognized by Congressman Benjamin Gilman, State Senator William Larkin Jr. Assemblyman John Bonacic, Orange County Executive Rampe, and others for his commitment to sound development principles.

Mr. Zuckerman served in the army during the Vietnam War era as a Military Police Officer. He was promoted to Sergeant in Southeast Asia for his work as a C.I.D. investigator for the provost Marshall.

A graduate of Orange County Community College , Mr. Zuckerman holds an A.A.S. degree in Business Administration and is also licensed to conduct business as a New York State Real Estate Broker.

 

Alan R. Zuckerman, Principal

 

From 1974 through 1993, as a third generation principal of Zuckerman Contractors, Mr. Alan R. Zuckerman gained his extensive experience in purchasing, estimating and contracts, bid and price review and analysis, and labor relations. He began his career as an assistant project manager, evolving into the managerial positions of project manager and project executive, with an extensive period as estimator and chief estimator.

In 1993 together with his brother, Irving, Mr. Zuckerman formed Verticon Ltd for which he is responsible for guiding the firm's construction management and general contracting projects. As overseer he participates directly in the estimating, site evaluation, transaction analysis, and permitting processes (planning and zoning) of the firm. Mr. Zuckerman negotiates real estate development leases with Fortune 500 companies and has arranged financing for them. In addition, he is responsible for banking relationships and agreements that benefit the company.

A representative of personal and third party interests, he accomplished many successful development projects for commercial, residential, warehouse and distribution facilities.

Mr. Zuckerman serves on the board of directors of the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development.

A graduate of the University of Toledo , Mr. Zuckerman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and specializes in concrete design and soil analysis.
