VERTICON MAKES YEARLY DONATION TO INSPIRE, GROWS COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY

Monroe, N.Y. – February 19, 2010 – Once again, Verticon Ltd. has demonstrated their commitment to the community, this time with its yearly substantial charitable donation to Inspire, a Goshen-based not-for-profit that helps children and adults with disabilities and challenges.

“We continue to have a great relationship with Inspire that reaches back many years,” said Irving Zuckerman, principal at Verticon. “We believe the organization’s mission is invaluable to the community and the services they provide are truly essential. Contributing to such an important cause is the right thing to do when you care about the local community.”

Marcel Martino, president and CEO of Inspire, added, “Knowing that a company has made a meaningful gift year after to a nonprofit organization on your behalf gives you a feeling for its social conscience. Verticon’s holiday gift to Inspire supports our important work and is reflective of the Zuckerman Family’s compassion for its community.”

This is the eighth year Verticon has made a financial contribution to Inspire. Verticon first interfaced with Inspire in the late 1990s, when the organization underwent a $1.6 million expansion project that increased the size and functionality of its pre-school building. Since that venture, Verticon and Inspire have built a wonderful friendship that continued with the construction of the Inspire Kids Preschool just across the street from Verticon’s own offices on Gilbert St. Ext. in Monroe, N.Y this past fall.

“There’s something to be said about your company when clients keep coming back and referring us to friends,” said Alan Zuckerman, principal at Verticon.

Rita Frey, director of organizational support for Inspire, added, “Verticon has helped with creative fund-raising, and friend-raising, so Inspire can provide life-changing services for people with disabilities long into the future. The Zuckerman’s set the example for giving back to the community."

Inspire was founded in 1950 as the Orange County Cerebral Palsy Association. Although specializing in early childhood development, faculty and staff at Inspire also offer outpatient services, educational and support services for people of all ages. Donations to Inspire help provide important programs and services for more than 160 pre-school students and 3,500 outpatient clients each year.
